Does these sound natural? How would you put it? Thanks.

1 “When it comes to making friends, I just let nature take its course. I don’t like forcing it.” 2.”For making friends, I just let nature take its course. I don’t like forcing it.” 3. “I don’t like pushing it when I make friends. I just let things happen naturally.”

\#1 and #3 both sound natural. "For making friends" in #2 sounds a bit odd imo

1 and 3 are natural. "for" in #2 should be "when"

All sound fine. #3 sounds the most natural. #1 sounds more formal.

\#1 is the most natural

To me, #3 sounds best, followed by #1, and then #2: "let nature take its course" brings to my mind negative connotations of the effects of some kind of disease or something, and "for making friends" just sounds to me like an introduction to some kind of recipe or technical instruction manual.

they are all pretty good, TBH. I think I like #3 best, but it is purely a matter of taste. All are clear and grammatical.

Since the question was answered, just a quick grammar note: >!**Do** these sound natural?!< >!”Does” is used for grammatically singular words. “These” is grammatically plural, so it needs the conjugation, “do”.!<

The sentence starting with “For” is incorrect. The other two sentences seem natural.

*Do these sound...(Plural subject).

“Do” these sound natural. And yes. They’re all fine actually. I prefer #1

I’d probably say, “When it comes to making friends, I let things happen naturally,” or “I don’t try to force friendships, I just let them happen naturally.” Saying ‘let nature take its course’ brings to mind natural processes (letting an injury heal, disease progression, dying, childbirth, etc.)

As others have said, nature taking it's course has negative connotations and would not be used in this context at all. 3 is the only one to use.

1 and 3 are perfectly natural, any distinction between them comes down to personal preference. For me, personally, I like #1, but I might say it like #3 depending on my mood.

\#3 sounds the most natural to me.

I agree with others, 1 and 3 are the best. For 3, I would say "to push" instead of "pushing" but I'm pretty sure that's just a personal preference. Also, "Do these sound natural" not does :)
