Pumpjacks? People call these “pumpjacks?” I never knew that. I’ve always known them as derricks.
“Pump jack” is another name for a [manual pallet jack](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pallet_jack), as well.
And “pump-jacks” are parts of some [scaffolding systems](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scaffolding#Pump-jack).
So [pumpjacks](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pumpjack), pump jacks, and pump-jacks are three different things. Neat. And I have only ever known pumpjacks as “derricks” before (and some other nicknames), but just now learned they’re called “pumpjacks.”

Looks like a pumpjack. It’s for pumping oil out of the ground.

Hard to tell from the angle but it might be a pumpjack, also called an oil derrick pump. Pumps oil out of the ground.

Pumpjack is the most technically correct name. Although you could also just call the whole thing "an oil well" and I guess you wouldn't be wrong.

Formally a "Pumpjack", I've also heard them called "nodding donkeys" informally.
